Introductory Practices for Global Racial Healing

with Salaam Green & Lucy Wairimu Mukuria

*** *** ***         ***

This program is designed to help regulate your nervous system to experience a greater sense of safety and connection with people of all races.

Our healing work is informed by the Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation program, a comprehensive, national and community-based process to plan for and bring about transformational and sustainable change, and to address the historic and contemporary effects of racism.

This is for people of all races …

• People who identify as a survivor of racism and racial trauma

• White people who want to continue to expand their work in racial justice, and those newly called to heal with others.

• People from the global village who want to be part of a community healing circle

• People who feel called to be part of a consciously aware anti-racist global community

• People who crave a space of compassion and kindness in which you can find and acknowledge your own truth

• People who yearn  for rich, authentic relationships across racial identities

In our time together, you will:

• Become competent in common language of racial healing through gentle conversation activities

• Become knowledgeable of what to say or not to say

• Become a better commUNITY member through deep witnessing exercises

• Become aware of simple practices to strengthen your friendships with people who are different from you

• Become inspired to heal SELF and become confident in interactions with other races

• You can expect to connect more deeply with those around you and SELF simply through the presence, action and energy you carry
