Service Description

I’ve never heard of this before. Why are you doing it? We are poets. It is our work to help people make sense of the world. So we set up this safe and anonymous space where you can meet poets and work with them to express whatever it is that is ready to come out of you. Do I have to know about poetry? Absolutely no knowledge is required of poetry or poets. This event is like you hanging out with your very patient, non-judgmental friend and at the end, you get a small memento of our time together. You get a poem. You don’t need to write it, we will do the work. Of course, if you feel inspired and want to contribute, we welcome that. It’s your experience. Is this like therapy? It is like therapy in that it can make you feel really good to talk about something that’s been bothering you and to have somebody listen to you without judgment. It is also like therapy in that there is no one outcome you are looking for. But we are not therapists and make no suggestions to be so. It is a process and anything can happen. We want to make you happy. What does this give me that other experiences can’t? A. We’re offering an experience where we take you on a journey. It’s mysterious, it’s fun, but it’s safe. You can also build on the experience by signing up again. Maybe you’ll have a book by the end of the year.
